Crusty death metal powerhouse Winds Of Genocide have joined forces with Terrorizer for an exclusive premiere of their forthcoming album’s title track, ‘Usurping The Throne Of Disease’.

If you’ve somehow missed out on the apocalyptic tornado that is Winds Of Genocide, then now’s the time to get yourself acquainted with Durham’s crustiest riff enthusiasts. Pulling together the fury of d-beat punk with the evil might of death metal, theirs is a sound that ticks all the right boxes and can’t fail to stir the spirit of anyone with a propensity toward the grottier, gnarlier side of extreme metal and punk.

After releasing their raging debut EP ‘The Arrival Of Apokalyptic Armageddon’ in 2010, and a split with Japanese black/thrash maniacs Abigail in 2012, Winds Of Genocide have recently finished working on their first full-length, ‘Usurping The Throne Of Disease’. The album was recorded by Ian Boult (Pine Barrens, Satanic Dystopia, Moloch etc) at Stuck On A Name Studios in Nottingham, before being mastered by Jack Control at Enormous Door Mastering (Darkthrone, Trap Them, Poison Idea, Entrails, etc), Austin, Texas. The vocals, meanwhile, were recorded by Fred Estby of Dismember fame at Gutterview Recorders (The Dagger, Bastard Priest, Morbus Chron, etc), who also mixed the record.

The record is due to be released via Pulverised Records next year, but you can take a sneaky listen to the title track below, finding the band in full-on Bolt Thrower worship mode. Enjoy!

‘Usurping The Throne Of Disease’ is due to be released on January 22nd via Pulverised Records
