Forgotten Tomb Reveal New Song Before Doom Over London This Saturday

By on 2 April 2015

Italy’s notorious blackened doom quartet Forgotten Tomb will be playing Doom Over London this Saturday as part of an obscenely good lineup that also includes Asphyx, Serpent Venom, Witchsorrow, Crypt Lurker and many more – and if that’s not enough to get you excited, they’ve also teamed up with Terrorizer for an exclusive preview of their new song ‘Bad Dreams Come True’…

The song is taken from the band’s new album ‘Hurt Yourself And The Ones You Love’, which is their eighth full-length to date – and if you think it sounds good now, just wait until the band themselves are blaring it directly into your face on Saturday. The band will be headlining the Boston Music Room stage, so you’ll be able to catch all of them before nipping over to The Dome to get crushed by Asphyx.

Unfortunately Draconian and Pombagira have had to pull out of the fest, but UK black metallers Fen have stepped in to replace them. The organisers have given the following statement:

Pombagira are dealing with a family emergency abroad which makes it impossible for them to appear. We have some good news to counter the bad however, as the mighty Fen will be stepping into the breach to bring some of their own trademark progressive gloom to North London. The situation is far from ideal for all parties involved, but we are eternally grateful to FEN for joining us at the last minute.

Sadly, Draconian have also had to postpone their UK appearance at Doom Over London, stemming from complications beyond the control of both the artist and the organizer. All concerned fought extremely hard to deal with the complications that arose, and everyone is disappointed and frustrated that red tape has ultimately meant the show has had to be postponed. To soften the blow we’re currently developing a separate headline show for Draconian, and will be able to announce a new date in the coming days.

Sincere apologies to anyone disappointed by the changes but they are completely beyond our control. Should you have any concerns or queries, please email us direct on

Let’s be honest, though; with the rest of the lineup as strong as it is, we’re sure you’ll hardly even notice they’re missing. You can find stage times and more info here, but for now, check out the new Forgotten Tomb song below, and then we’ll see you at the front…

‘Hurt Yourself And The Ones You Love’ is due to be released on April 17th via Agonia Records and is available to pre-order here
