ROTTEN SOUND POST TWO NEW TRACKS, INCLUDING NAPALM DEATH COVER

Finnish grindcore firebrands Rotten Sound have posted two songs off their forthcoming 'Napalm' EP, the band's first release for new label Relapse (out April 5). VIOLENT REPRISAL: LOCK UP RECORD FIRST NEW SONGS IN EIGHT YEARS!

Following their return as a live band at last year's Terrorizer-sponsored Damnation Festival, grindcore supergroup LOCK UP, featuring Napalm Death's Shane Embury, Disfear and former At The Gates vocalist Tomas Lindberg, former Pentagram guitarist Anton Reisenegger and prolific drum monster Nick Barker have announce their intention to record three new songs for a split with the mighty Brutal Truth. Shane let us in on the band's first material since 2002's 'Hate Breeds Suffering'.

BARNEY GREENWAY TO APPEAR ON FORTHCOMING LENG TCH'E ALBUM

Napalm Death frontman Mark 'Barney' Greenway has lent his formidable roar to the song 'Totalitarian', which will appear on the forthcoming new album from Belgian 'razorgrind' outfit Leng Tch'e, recorded last year with Russ Russell in Kettering. A statement from the band said, "We are also close to finalizing a new record deal which I, alas, cannot yet share with the world. But rest assured it will take Leng Tch'e to places before unseen. All I can say is the new record will be released in May, so prepare for a summer filled with razorgrind mayhem!"

Just in time for adding a little death metal to your Christmas... Earache Records is due to release 'Death Metal Live' DVD set on November 30th.
