Voice of Ruin release video for ‘Horns’

By on 27 March 2017

Voice of Ruin have released a video for the track ‘Horns’, taken from their album ‘Purge And Purify’ released via Tenacity Music on 12 May 2017. You can buy a copy of ‘Purge And Purify’ here.

Speaking about the album, vocalist Randy said:

“For this new record, we spent a lot of time pre-producing the songs and working on the arrangements with the help of our producer Romesh. During the recording, we paid particular attention to the sound and feeling of this record. We wanted something more organic than our previous album. The lyrics are also a departure from what we’ve done in the past. This time we wanted to speak about the ongoing issues people have faced for centuries with the usual suspects, like wars, religions and politics, but we tried to focus more on their ill effects on people, namely vengeance, class struggle, violence and illusions. It was quite a challenge to give birth to these 10 songs, but looking back we are really happy with the result and we cannot wait to unleash it to our fans and all metalheads.”

‘Purge And Purify’ is the band’s third album set for release on May 12th via Tenacity Music. The new album was produced, recorded and mixed in Cardiff (UK) by Romesh Dodangoda (Motorhead, BMTH, Sylosis…), mastered by Jens Bogren (Amon Amarth, Arch Enemy, Opeth…) and features the artwork of Travis Smith (Soilwork, Opeth, Katatonia…).
