Italian math-rock trio Valerian Swing have teamed up with Terrorizer for an exclusive premiere of their new video ‘Scilla’.

The song is taken from the band’s recently released third album ‘Aurora’, which was once again mixed with Matt Bayles (Mastodon, Isis, Botch, Russian Circles) at Red Room in Seattle, who also handled their previous album ‘A Sailor Lost Around The Earth’.

The band themselves had this to say about the video:

With regards to the production of the video, the challenge was to visually recreate the musicality of the song drawing from what gave life to the entire album during its composition. The atmosphere, which is sometimes surreal and citationist, surrounds a sinuous and dreamy performance.
With regards to the choice of song, it is very difficult to choose a “single” given that, on every album, we have always had songs that are very different to each other. We believe that ‘Scilla’ represents everything that is in ‘Aurora’ while still maintaining a type of connection with what we have done in the past.
