Max Cavalera’s groove metal powerhouse Soulfly are premiering their brand new video for the song ‘Bloodshed’ today, exclusively with Terrorizer…

‘Bloodshed’ is the opening track from Soulfly’s new album ‘Savages’, and will feel instantly familiar to the Soulfly faithful with it’s low slung grooves and Cavalera’s distinctive vocals. Produced by the renowned Terry Date (Pantera, Deftones, Soundgarden), ‘Savages’ is the band’s ninth album to date, and also the first to feature Max’s 20-year-old son Zyon on drums.

Commenting on the track ‘Bloodshed’ (which also features guest vocals from Max’s other son, Igor), Cavalera said:

“The song is about the absurdity of the human condition in territories plagued by bloodshed all over the world. Not just recent events like Iraq, but also historical conflicts such as the U.S. Civil War, World Wars I and II, etc.”

‘Savages’ is out now via Nuclear Blast, and is available to order here.
