Warbringer Premiere New Video For ‘Black Sun, Black Moon’ Exclusively With Terrorizer

By on 5 November 2013

Californian thrash upstarts Warbringer have just revealed the video for ‘Black Sun, Black Moon’, a track from their killer new album ‘IV: Empires Collapse’.

The moody, cinematic video was directed by Dean Ciocca, and tells a sinister tale involving a trunk load of bodies, the desert at night, and, of course, a metric tonne of absolutely killer thrash riffs. ‘Black Sun, Black Moon’ is a fine example of the kind of furious metal lunacy that awaits you on ‘IV: Empires Collapse’, which is surely Warbringer’s most assured and powerful album yet.

Warbinger vocalist John Kevill had this to say about the video shoot:

“We just finished shooting our video clip for “Black Sun, Black Moon”. We went out to the most desolate stretch of highway we could find out in the Mojave desert. It’s a fitting location for this song, which is a motorin’ heavy metal tune, with a Priest highway-rollin’ type feel crossed with the forbidding mysticism of the night!

The director Dean Ciocca is an old friend of ours and a talented filmmaker. He came up with the treatment for the song based off the lyrics. He put a great crew together and we shot all through the night!”

‘IV: Empires Collapse’ is out now via Century Media Records.
