Telepathy release video for new track ‘Hiraeth’

By on 30 August 2016

Telepathy 300Telepathy have released a video for the new track ‘Hiraeth’, a one-off piece the band have recorded to celebrate their forthcoming tour.

Speaking about the ‘Hiraeth’, the band said:

“‘Hiraeth’ (is) a Welsh word for which there is no direct English translation. It describes a kind of homesick torment, a longing to return to a place from which you came from, but cannot return.

We are very happy to share this new song ‘Hiraeth’, with it’s visual accompaniment as the first new release from Telepathy since our debut album ’12 Areas’, and the first release to feature our new bassist Teddy-James Driscoll. This new song will give you an insight into Telepathy’s musical progression as a band over the last two years, and set the tone for the forthcoming record.”

The band’s forthcoming new album was engineered, mixed and mastered by esteemed producer/engineer Jaime Gomez Arellano at Orgone Studios in London between January and August 2016. The music video was filmed and edited by Jack Burley of Prismatik with assistance from Netanya Marie Smith.
