Sludge duo Zolle are streaming their new self-titled album with Terrorizer.

The self-titled effort is out now via Supernatural Cat, the Italian underground label run by Malleus Rock Art Lab – the artist collective featuring two members of the psychedelic doom trio Ufomammut – but you can stream it right here, in full.

The debut album from the self-proclaimed rednecks is an ode to backwoods ways of living. The meaty riffs and thunderous rhythms of Zolle are thanks to riff lord Marcello Lan (Morkobot) and counterpart Stefano, who beefs things up on drums and xylophone

‘Zolle’ was recorded in September 2012 by Michelangelo Roberti at Mizkey Studio (Morkobot) and mastered by Giovanni Versari (Zu, Morkobot, OvO, One Dimensional Man). It was virtually all played live, with minimal overdubs. The mammoth sound of the drums is own to the fact that they’re made of copper and were amplified through an old digital model of the ’50s. To top it off, Urlo from Ufomammut and Roberto Rizzo of Quasiviri/Runi added synth seasoning to flesh out the album.
