Goatsnake Reveal Brand New Song ‘Elevated Man’ With Terrorizer

By on 8 April 2015

Doom legends Goatsnake return this June with ‘Black Age Blues’, their first album in fifteen years, and they’ve teamed up with Terrorizer for an exclusive preview of their brand new song, ‘Elevated Man’…

How do you follow a classic album like ‘Flower Of Disease’? In Goatsnake’s case, you don’t; aside from 2004’s awesome but brief ‘Trampled Under Hoof’ EP, the band have been pretty silent on the releases front. Well, until now of course. Following a series of ridiculously good reunion shows that saw the ‘Snake blowing minds at festivals like Hellfest and Roadburn, it was clear that the quartet still had some unfinished business to attend to.

All of which means that this June, we’ll be treating to a brand new Goatsnake album by the name of ‘Black Age Blues’. With former The Obsessed drummer Greg Rogers back behind the kit (he was absent for ‘Trampled Under Hoof’), Scott Renner (Sonic Medusa, Sourvein) on the bass and, of course, Greg Anderson’s (Sunn O))), Thorr’s Hammer) planet rattling guitar tone and the soaring, soulful vocals of Pete Stahl (Wool, Earthlings?), the band are sounding groovier than ever.

Check out the new song ‘Elevated Man’ below…
