Promising new stoner rock quartet Stereo Virgins have revealed the first taste of their forthcoming debut album in the form of new song ‘333’, a groovy little number that’ll have fans of Red Fang and The Sword nodding along within seconds.

The band was formed by sisters Beck and Rachel Alveston (bass and guitar/vocals respectively) who recruited Lyam Kirkham on drums and Stu Sinclair on lead guitar duties in order to flesh out their riff laden jams. The band have been knuckling down over the past year, honing and refining their sound to make it as heavy as possible.

Their hard work has certainly paid off. Not only have the quartet managed to secure support slots with the likes of Throne, Lesbian, Hawk Eyes and Iron Witch, but they’re also currently sitting on a collection of riffs so humongous they’d make the Jolly Green Giant look like Warwick Davis. ‘333’ is a fine example of their sound, with Rachel’s sultry vocals soaring over a rollicking fuzz workout, complete with some seriously sleazy leads.
