Secrets of the Moon release lyric video for ‘Hole’

By on 19 November 2015

Secrets of the Moon have released a lyric video for the track ‘Hole’ taken from their forthcoming album ‘Sun’. Guitarist/vocalist sG said on behalf of the band:

“‘Hole’ describes the desolate story of humanity. A story that is more present than ever before with the tragic attacks in Paris that leave me speechless and resigned. There is no hope. There is no god. Whatever we do, whatever we create, whatever we love is temporary. It is a gift that we go on for nothing. ‘Hole’ sketches pretty much the opposite of ‘going on’, also within the music. At least that’s what I feel right now.”

‘Sun’ is Secrets Of The Moon’s sixth album and the successor to 2012’s ‘Seven Bells’. On ‘Sun’, the band have stretched beyond their black metal lineage and mixed in elements of Bauhaus, Killing Joke and The Nephilim.

The album credits are:

LSK – Spirit
sG – Vocals, Guitar
Ar – Guitar
Naamah Ash – Bass Guitar
Erebor – Drums

‘Sun’ was recorded at The Source Studios in Munich, by Michael Zech July 2014 to February 2015 and the vocals were recorded at The Source Studios in Munich and Soundcave Studios in Hamburg, by Michael Zech and Wolfgang Budde and co-produced by Thomas Helm. The album was produced and engineered by Michael Zech.

‘Sun’ is out 4 December on Prophecy Productions, and you can order Secrets of the Moon’s ‘Sun’ here.
