Welsh sludge titans H A R K have just announced the dates for their ‘Summer Disintegration’ tour, calling at Cardiff, Milton Keynes, Sheffield, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Bristol and London this August.

After the perennially underrated Taint parted ways back in 2010, guitarist and vocalist Jombob Isaac wasted no time at all in assembling a new band. H A R K’s sound shares similarities with Taint, but also brings a whole new identity and atmosphere to the table. Marrying hefty, doom laden riffs to an almost classic rock sensibility, the three piece’s anthemic bombast is sure to delight anyone who digs the burly riff fests bandied about by the likes of Mastodon, Baroness or Red Fang.

H A R K have also unveiled their new lineup, and revealed that they’re currently recording the follow up to 2014’s ‘Crystalline’ at The Nave in Leeds with Gethin Pearson (‘Crystalline’), with Kurt Ballou scheduled to mix (Converge, Kvelertak, High On Fire).

The band has given the following statement on their Facebook page:

We’re glad to announce our ‘Summer Disintegration’ tour 2016. We shall be playing these shows as our newly expanded lineup, so we’d like to officially welcome Tom Short (Intensive Square) to the H A R K fold as our new bass player. Joe will now be handling second and lead guitar on the new album, which we’re about to begin recording tomorrow. This is the beginning of H A R K V.3.0 and we can’t wait to air some new songs on this summer trip. More album updates soon.
