Dani Filth reveals new band with Anthrax and ex-Gorgoroth members

By on 12 September 2011

The future is black, very black as Dani Filth discloses news of a new project featuring himself, Rob Caggiano (Anthrax, The Damned Things), King Ov Hell (ex-Gorgoroth, Ov Hell, Sahg) and The Cult and ex-White Zombie drummer John Tempesta. Entitled Temple Of The Black Moon, the eclectic mix of musicians have just finished demoing an album.

Says Dani: “It’s a cross between everybody’s bands so it’s got elements of Anthrax and Metallica in there as well as sounding like bits of Rammstein and Tool mixed with Immortal and At The Gates. It sounds a lot more commercial and is less my style of ‘singing’ as it’s more singing than screaming.”

Cradle Of Filth release ‘Evermore Darkly…’ on Peaceville on October 17. A follow-on from last year’s ‘Darkly, Darkly, Venus Aversa’ is a CD/DVD package including new tracks & rarities, with a lengthy on-the-road documentary and ten songs filmed live at this year’s Graspop metal meet, as well as the video for ‘Lilith Immaculate’.
