Bloodstock announce Dimmu Borgir and three others

By on 31 October 2011

The Norwegian black metallers are one of four new announcements for next year’s event.

It wouldn’t be Bloodstock without some Norwegian theatrics. Immortal tore the place apart with them this year, and next year it is Dimmu Borgir who providing the devilish atmosphere.

They are joined on the main stages by crossover legends Corrosion Of Conformity, who bring their original line-up of Mike Dean, Reed Mullin and Woody Weatherman playing tracks from the classic ‘Animosity’ album in their only UK show of 2012.

Also geared to destroy are Jamey Jasta’s metallic hardcore bruisers Hatebreed. The Connecticut outfit will unleash their own call for blood from the Ronnie James Dio stage in their only UK show next year.

And last but definitely not least, Anaal Nathrakh will scorch the inside of the Sophie Lancaster stage with their monstrously evil wall of misanthropy. Enter the tent at your peril and have your face grinded off by Dave Hunt and Mick Kenney’s awesome filth.

With Orange Goblin, Anvil, Watain and Paradise Lost already announced, 2012 is looking like another great installment of the Catton Hall metal festival already – and we haven’t even got a headliner yet!
