‘Reptile Minds’ is taken from the new Lecherous Gaze album ‘One Fifteen’, out 10 February on Tee Pee Records. You can buy ‘One Fifteen’ here.

With a band name like Lecherous Gaze, you’re going to catch the attention of curious music fans. With an album cover by legendary comic book/sci-fi artist, Frank Frazetta, you’re going to catch the eye of discerning art fans. So, let’s just assume as you’re reading this, you’re keen to know more.

Hailing from Oakland, California, Lecherous Gaze deal in laid back, greasy rock, husky vocals and riffs for days; this is retro, but most certainly not a gimmick. The band describe themselves as “Psycho-delic shred-tastic ultra-hyphened rock-punk heavy jams” or as ZZ TOP’s Billy Gibbons more concisely puts it, they’re “heavy.”

So, what can we expect from the upcoming album? Comments band spokesman Graham Clise:

“‘One Fifteen’ is the definitive Lecherous Gaze album. This record is a timeless masterpiece of epic proportions or some shit – as perfectly evidenced on Reptile Minds.”

Well, it’s hard to argue with that!
