More bands have been confirmed for this year’s Le Guess Who? Festival in Utrecht, the Netherlands, which is being curated by drone overlords Sunn O))) this November. Amongst them are Keiji Haino, Chelsea Wolfe, OM, Goatsnake, Martyrdöd, The Secret, and Today Is The Day.

Other names recently confirmed for the event include Bennie Maupin (who performed on Miles Davis’ ‘Bitches Brew’ as well as many other jazz classics), Demdike Stare, Charlemagne Palestine, Marissa Nadler, Circuit des Yeux and Big|Brave.

In addition to the above bands, you can also look forward to electronic composer Julia Holter, The Crazy World of Arthur Brown (known from their ’68 hit ‘Fire’, a huge influence on the likes of Alice Cooper and King Diamond), experimental jazz legend Annette Peacock (who has collaborated with Salvador Dalí and was one of the first jazz artists to record with a Moog after being gifted a prototype from Robert Moog himself), experimental black metallers Aluk Todolo, prog rock pioneers Magma, a collaboration between Einstürzende Neubauten’s F.M. Einheit and avant-garde guitarist Caspar Brötzmann, and (of course) Sunn O))) themselves.

Alongside the Sunn O))) curated programme, Le Guess Who? also boasts the likes of krautrock veterans Faust, transcendental jazz oddballs The Necks, Japanese psych-rockers Bo Ningen and many more, so if you’ve been on the lookout for a more eclectic festival experience, well, here it is!

This year, the festival takes place in Utrecht from November 19-22 across more than fifteen venues, from churches to galleries to pop venues.

Tickets for Le Guess Who? are available now here.  Day tickets are also now available; tickets for the Thursday program are €27,50 and tickets for Friday, Saturday and Sunday are €37,50 (excluding fees). 4-Day Festival Passes are available for €110. Le Guess Who? and Festicket also offer festival ticket + hotel packages for the entire weekend.
