Moth Invasion.
The perils of having a light on with the windows wide open. The house is infested with moths, hundreds of the bloody things flapping away in my ear and around my face.
They also seem a lot bigger than they used to. This is a little specimen from last night...

Nothing to be worried about, just damn annoying. I had one earlier manage to get stuck in the space between my eye and my glasses! Little flappy wings hitting my eyeball isn't the best feeling in the world.

I had something akin to a stag beetle fly into my window and into the side of my head not that long ago.
They are 2 inches long and look more evil than Hitler. I let it back outside, but it actually made me jump with the force it hit me.
Within the storms of thy burning hate,
Lies the destiny of the false,
My scorn of the whitest lie,
Seals my fate among the rotting.
My scorn of the whitest lie,
Burns like a calling blaze.
May Bugs, or May Flys, whatever they are called. Cunts.
Moths are cunts too.
One's just flown into my desk fan now. Silly dead fucker.

My fan is too big to put on my desk.
I say that, what I really mean is the computer I purchased takes up far too much room and so the fan has to sit on the floor blowing cool air at my legs.
Within the storms of thy burning hate,
Lies the destiny of the false,
My scorn of the whitest lie,
Seals my fate among the rotting.
My scorn of the whitest lie,
Burns like a calling blaze.
my daughter is terrified of moths, and we also get mutant ones that i am pretty sure are cross bread with bats.

moths are clearly the right hand to satan - i met one in mexico that was the size of a dinner plate, flapped around my head.....evil, dusty, horrible things
There is Mothra though, he is cool.
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - goes without saying, naturally
i thought mothra was a girl....no?..i haven't watched as many godzilla flicks as you though i don't think
It is open for debate, I must say I'm not entirely sure myself. There are even some theories that Godzilla himself may be female...
I haven't watched a Godzilla movie for a long time! I must rectify the situation soon...
i would love to host a godzilla retrospective, if only i knew more people than just me who would show up!!!
it's just so much damn fun - i love it
Oh, definitely! I'd be into that. Unfortunately, all my Godzilla films are on VIDEO TAPES! Only Fhil and Red use video nowadays, I have a player somewhere, but it's a hassle. I need to upgrade them all to DVD's at some point.
ive been in the process of doing that as well , i have alot of movies on VHS that need to be replaced but not being independently wealthy, it's slow
Alot of them haven't been released on DVD over here either, so once one tracks them down, they are pretty pricey. Last time I looked at least. That, and the fact that all my spare money goes on music first.
i have never had trouble getting what i was after on dvd, but then again i live next door to the behemoth
Monster Island? Well yes, that would help I guess!
hahahah - Monster Island -great zombie book by david wellington - superb
i refer of course to A M E R I C A
I know! I'm sure I've read that book, my brother has tons of Zombie books, and they kind of all blend into one, hence me forgetting titles and what I have read!
World War Z is another great Zombie book.
I watched my VHS copy of Jingle All The Way last Christmas. True story. Also, you Brits need screens for your windows.

ive read world war z - good book - i prefer wellington's trilogy and of the three Monster Island in my personal fave
Monster Island the one where they sail to New York? I'm certain I have read at least two of that trilogy.
I know a guy, die hard KVLT AS FUKK black metaller, spends his days in the gym practising tough guy grimmness, who shits his pants if a moth enters the room.
Moths - the ideal panda deterrant.

Yes!!! that's the one.....definitely the strongest of the three in my opinion, gotta love the concept of thinking zombies.......brings things up a notch or two -
have you also read the zombie survival guide? - i have an axe at the top of my stairs ready for action -
Moths - the ideal panda deterrant.
i have been known to gag while watching a moth fly down someone's shirt
I know what you mean LC. I must re - read it, but the "zombies with a conscience" thing sometimes doesn't work at all. Romero's Land Of The Dead, for example.
Maybe it works better in the printed word, rather than on film. Less believable on film!
Moths aren't bad. Hummingbird moths are in fact quite cool.

well im not talking about zombies with a conscience, assuming you mean the phrase to mean 'compelled to feel bad despite their brain-sucking ways' - i thought it was great that these ones thought and planned -
anyway - great book for anyone who loves zombies and hasnt read it yet
I agree with that, yes, good book.
I meant conscience as in they have a "leader" zombie, and all follow him. In Land Of The Dead anyway, not Monster Island.
