When our industrious cover star flew into London for our photoshoot it just so happened to be on the same day as the London premiere of brand new black metal documentary, ‘Until The Light Takes Us’. With the Terrorizer team already primed for a massive drinking session post-screening Hypocrisy’s fearless leader Peter Tägtgren was roped in to join us, not that he needed any coercion.Used to multi-tasking and having seemingly a zillion projects on the go from performing in his own bands, producing the likes of Immortal and Overkill to acting as a sort of quasi-mayor of a village in Sweden (true story) Pete had no problems rushing from photoshoot, to radio interview, to film screening, to the bar, and then another bar and then another. To him this is just another day on the go. For us the morning after was not a good one at Terrorizer HQ, wondering if our esteemed guest felt the same we were surprised to find him up and out, raring to go with another day of interviews. Sir Tägtgren, we salute you. It’s been all go here in the Terrorizer office too. John Biscomb, the most brutal sticksman this side of the Thames estuary and our advertising manager was snatched away to work elsewhere due to his immense badassness. We already miss him and his cat stories, blastbeating skills and Essex rudeboy swagger. But we got two for the price of one, snapping up firecracker Charlie Hall (who loves obscure death metal almost as much as her predecessor) and Sasha Krohm, sales sensei and Savage Messiah shredder to join our merry team. Gore-obsessed Glaswegian Jonathan Horsley, long-time contributor to this wee tome, has also joined the gang full-time, making sure that James Hoare is incessantly infuriated by his mischievous ways at every turn. Slowly, surely the empire that is Terrorizer is growing. These apprentices are already on their way to becoming powerful Sith lords and if I get any more wrinkles from the stress of it all I’ll look like Palpatine in no time. Scary thought.Louise Brown, editor
