We're back again, giving you the quick links to the stuff from Dominion that grabbed us this week.
For a while now I've seen drawings by Weird Avenue aka Christopher Marsh, popping up, the one here is by him.
World Goth Day is approaching and Rhombus are playing at our World Goth Day Dominion Magazine Show, Ed Grassby got his thinking cap on and as the little news item says, Rhombus will be morphing into three bands. All of that is in HERE, the Facebook event is HERE and we've just found out that Dutch Order have listened to the repeated requests for them to cover a Joy Division song at our little shin-dig and they've caved in to demand.
We also got an interview with Cruel Britannia, the inventor of WGD and the certified sane man who envisions himself and Martin Oldgoth wearing gold lame dinner jackets, that highly amusing interview is HERE
The March Violets popped their purple heads up and announced their European Tour Dates HERE. There'll be other news about the album and so on coming soon. The Pledge is HERE and I see that a Bedtime Story is going for £25 - intriguing.
Sean Palfrey interviewed Johan van Roy from Suicide Commando HERE
Dominion got an interview with Dan, Ashe and Simon, the people behind Dark Waters, the new Festival in Nottingham, we really hope that this event goes well and Dominion is set to review it, the info is in HERE
Geordie Debauchery of Collateral Damage filled Dominion in on the bands that he'd chosen for the Money Shot 2 Musical Extravaganza S.O.P.H.I.E. fundraiser. All of the details, bands, DJs etc are in HERE
Baz chose Le Vant as his Band Of The Week and did a spot of reviewing. This is a different type of music for Baz and he discovered his more laid back side. We recommend that you track down this album if you're looking for some chill out music.
Other reviews were Vendemmian's 'One In A Million', The Hiram Key's 'Amerikafka', DJ Armand went to Club Incarnate, Ipswich to see what was happening there.
On the new release front, Lenore found out about the new film 'Priest' and about Wrapped In Plastic's new EP launch show, Mindless Self Indulgence are to release 'Tighter' and Seventh Harmonic announced a new album release. Department S announced their new release 'God Squad Saviour', a very dark song about religion that has already received some radio airplay HERE
And finally, the Lumous Festival in Tampere, Finland have announced their line-up HERE
Now, off to the pub as it's nearly gin o'clock, closely followed by Zinfandel o'clock with a Southern Comfort chaser.
