Short Circuit Festival presents “Two days of Mute”

Seminal electronic record label Mute has announced that it will curate two days (13-14 April 2011) at London’s Roundhouse as part of the Short Circuit Electronic Music Festival. The label will host talks and workshops with Mute artists as well as feature exclusive performances, screenings and installations that will celebrate the history of the pioneering label.

Founded by Daniel Miller in 1978, Mute’s prestigious roster of artists includes Depeche Mode, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Laibach, Throbbing Gristle, John Foxx, Cabaret Voltaire, Fad Gadget and many more.

The Short Circuit Festival pays tribute to the key pioneers of electronic music, recent festivals have hosted performances from artists such as the BBC Radiophonic Workshop, Holger Czukay, John Foxx, Jeff Mills and Gavin Bryars.

Tickets are currently on sale and are priced as below:

Fri 13 May (6 pm-1 am) = £30
Sat 14 May (12 pm-12 am) = £45
Fri & Sat = £65
Limited Premium Ticket* = £100

*Limited Premium Ticket includes access to both days plus after parties.
