LATVIAN FOLK METAL FOREFATHERS SKYFORGER SIGN TO METAL BLADE

Pagan metal pioneers Skyforger have signed to Metal Blade for the release of new album 'Kurbads', having dropped even the disguised sunwheel (already toned down compared to the original, which is a sad sign of the hyper-sensitive times) from their logo in favour of a nice friendly rune. Frontman Peter said of the signing, "For sure this is a new chapter in the band’s career. We've come a long way from the underground, so this is definitely a highlight to be recognized by Metal Blade Records, which is known as one of the most hard working and well known labels in the metal music industry."
