Nightwish

Germany, gloomy Germany. It's mid-February and I haven't been to
Finland in a heartbreaking six weeks. I'm trying to get Louise to come
over to Munich to take advantage of the world's largest sauna for way
over two years now, with no success. What to do, what to do. I know: go
to Finland, the country where there are more per-capita saunas than
cars WITH Louise, and cover the Finnish Metal Meeting and Industry day
in the capital of Frostbitten Metal!!

Last month, symph nymphs Nightwish bowed out with a huge extravaganza at Hartwall Arena in Helsinki, an 11,000 capacity stadium on the outskirts of the city, usual home to ice hockey and erm, Tom Jones, who was playing there the night after.
After racking up a mighty 190 shows around the world it was time to hang up the fingerless gloves and get that break the band so needed, the last few dates really taking their toll on the band, especially on newest member Annette Olzon.

Tartwork productions hawled their super-fine asses all the way to Tuska, Finland to uncover a very strange economic anomaly. Children Of Bodom have become the leading industry in the whole of Finland, beating Nokia back in to second place. With a brand new product in the pipe-lines for Wild Child merchandise, they're set to catapult the country to super power status.
