EX-SODOM "STRAHLI" GUITARIST HAS DIED

Teutonic thrashers Sodom have recently gotten the news that former bandmate Dirk "Strahli" Strahlmeier had passed away in a Düsseldorf hospital, in Janaury 2011.

In an update from their official website, the band have stated that they presently "don't know the exact circumstances of his death, [though offer] deepest condolences to his family and friends" for their loss.

Although Strahlmeier had only played guitar on one album with Sodom, "Masquerade in Blood"; the band have still expressed their concerns with his passing and announced the news on all public websites.
