According to a recent blog on their official Myspace page, Finnish symphonic/progressive metallers Turisas have at last completed recording their impending new album; set for an estimated release date of early 2011.
Currently untitled, the new record has been described by frontman/mastermind Mathias "Warlord" Nygård as being "true to [the band's] ideology of releasing music only when [they] have something new to come out with", rather than "just copying what [they've] done in the past to feed the market".
In turn, this news comes with the added information that Turisas are to eventually move across on a tour of North America with Cradle of Filth next year.
Comments Warlord, "we're all extremely excited to get back on the road again, and as our latest visit to North America is long overdue, coming over in January with Cradle is something we're all very much looking forward to.
"We had a great time touring with them in Europe in 2009, so this should be killer! Now we only have to figure out how to play these new songs".
