ARCTIC SPIRITS
'Pissutsit'
Arctic Spirits, the only Greenlandic (yes Greenlandic) metal band ever in the autonomous countries history, saw their debut release 'Pissutsit' hit the Greenlandic rock scene with a force that could only see the largest island in the world become the focal point for something exciting on a completely different scale, whipping together Heavy Metal with the Inuit language the quartet are the first ever from Greenland to muster the global incline of Metal music and to install their traditional culture to design and create their own unique sound and blend of Greenlandic music with Heavy Metal. Arctic Spirits are flying the flag for Greenland.

WARBEAST
'Death Metal Thrashers'
Well apart from a slight low quality in recording, Belgium's Death Metal newcomers Warbeast deliver their debut demo back in 2009 with a fist of fury embedded in military style compositions, a sort of renaissance released from the army division of the Belgian Air Component. With Death Metal at the heart of this release, influences come from punk rock (clearly present with the rockiness of Death Metal). None the less the Belgian quintet are no strangers to the Benelux having got themselves positioned to play at the final round of qualifying to play at the Wacken Open Air Festival in Germany, seems Warbeast will become a household name in Belgian Metal in the future, watch this space.

INFERNAL HATE
'Necrophorus Humator' + 'Promo from Abicen Abora'
Canary Islanders Infernal Hate released their sophomore album back in 2007 and their latest promotional this year, both releases sitting deep within the vein of Brutal Death Metal/Grindcore. Furious blastbeats shielded by some of the rawest guitars in the world and a strike force spitting out extreme guttural vocals, this is brutal on another level. Sounding similar to Greece's Terrordrome, the Canary Island trio fuses extreme metal with their island's culture and in turn has coined their music as 'Volcanic Death Metal', which of course relates to the Timanfaya National Park on Lanzarote. It is safe to say that Infernal Hate is flying the flag for the Canary Islands.

SIDERIS NOCTEM
'Wait Till The Time Is R.I.P'
BADMOODMAN MUSIC
Ukrainian Doomed Death Metallers Sideris Noctem finally release their long awaited debut album 'Wait Till The Time Is R.I.P', nine years after the band was formed and what a wait it was, melodic female vocals next to deep growling from the male vocals gives a duet approach whilst the Metal orchestra play in the background, not unlike The Phantom of The Opera. The quintet sought guest appearances from bandmembers of four different bands, most notably Anastasia Sverkunova from Delia. Sideris Noctem is the next generation of Ukrainian Metal and for fans of Frailty, Morbid Angel and Arkona.

PUTREFIED BEAUTY
'Promo 2010'
Who says Metal is for the men? We dont. Italy's Putrefied Beauty is an all-female Brutal Death quartet with more physical beauty than musical beauty, let's face it, this is probably the most disturbing promo in the Italian Brutal Death Metal scene's history. The vocals in themselves are blood-curdling, the drums, well, it makes Lars Ulrich look like a real pussy drummer, and how about the guitars? The bassist and guitarist? These two ladies could run for best riff and they would come out on level terms, the fact being this promo has more balls than AC Milan when playing AS Roma. Think Roman Empire, think Brutal Death, think 'Putrefied Beauty'.

DISEASE
'Defeating Scheme - Becoming Devine'
Latvian Extreme Symphonic Metallers Disease pulverized Riga to a pulp in 2009 with their fourth full length since their formation in 1997, this is entitled 'Defeating Scheme - Becoming Devine' and features some of the most quirky vocals to date, why and how they got this genre is unexplainable, when the vocals are clearly Black Metal style, so imminently the genre is wrong, but the music remains true, think of this way, the Latvian quintet probably dont give a s**t about what genre the music is, it is made in their vision, their own genre, 'Disease Metal'.

YAV'
'Эхом Воли'
CASUS BELLI MUSICA / SVAROGOVO KOLO
Russian Pagan Black Metal newcomers Yav' take you to a journey via the Trans-Siberian railway, a pure journey full of magical genius, paganism and a melodic feel to it. Sounding similar to fellow countrymen Arkona, Yav' develop their own take on Pagan lyrics and employ the Russian language to fulfill their musical messages. Blistering-paced drums, melodic riffs and raspy vocals all come together to deliver one of Russia's finest Pagan Black Metal debut's, for fans of Arkona, Graveland, Delia and Nokturnal Mortem.

SICITUR ADASTRA
'New Beat In A Dead World'
Hungarian Melodic Gothic Death Metallers Sicitur Adastra emerge on the Hungarian Metal scene in full flight, with eccentric compositions flowing freely from the speakers into the open air whilst mixing a solemn calm atmosphere with the brutality exerted from Metal music. A sonic wave of mass destruction will come from Budapest and will blast Europe to smithereens, this is the new generation of metal and fellow metalheads, prepare for your brain to be f****d over.

VITER
'Dzherelo'
Ukrainian Folksters Viter arrive on the Pagan/Slavic side of folk music based on how the dress and play musically, with their debut EP 'Dzherelo', there are double bass drums and your traditional Romany style music, using tambourines, flutes, etc. With this in mind it is very atmospheric, the sort of atmosphere generated in the Black Forest per se, but an overall performance would be finalized and dubbed as such 'True Ukrainian Folk Metal', a certain band for fans of Subway To Sally, maNga, Nile, Ancient Rites and Folk Metal in general.

FROSTHAMMER
'Images Of The Forgotten Realm'
Canadian Symphonic Black Metallers Frosthammer return with their third ever demo entitled 'Images Of The Forgotten Realm', bringing with them a third helping of the wintry darkness and grim blackness exhibited by the Canadian BM scene, using raw instruments to generate a more atmospheric approach, the trio are not one's to be ignored and are certainly living up to be Canada's answer to Dimmu Borgir. One of those demos that you listen to during the winter as you imagine the 'Images Of The Forgotten Realm'.
