DRAKHER
'Rejector'
AUSTRALIS
Chilean Heavy Metal ensemble Drakher took Iron Maiden and Latinized them, by performing screeching and down-tone guitars along with ever-changing beats and differentiating vocals do Drakher cause a stir along the Pacific Coast and over the Andes. With deep vocals slightly leaning towards Black Metal and high pitch vocals leaning towards 3 Inches of Blood, it is clear Drakher are no ordinary jack the lad nor are they essentially your average Heavy Metal band, they are in fact a Chilean trio (old photo) who stand as being the 'Rejector' of poseur Metal bands.

PERPETUUM
'Gradual Decay Of Conscience'
AUSTRALIS
Chilean Blackened Death Metallers in 2009 produced their debut album 'Gradual Decay Of Conscience' and also consequently shook the Andes so much it caused a chain reaction of avalanches. The clarity and deepness of the music is so sublime it cannot be downed, but only appraised. Considering the South American Metal scenes are underground in accordance to the average Metalhead (albeit Sepultura), it seems unjustified in the sense that Chile and other countries have a lot to offer in the ways of Metal. Experience, the 'Gradual Decay Of Conscience'.

NOVA ORBIS
'Imago'
Colombian Symphonic Gothic Metallers Nova Orbis came across the mountains of South America and overcome their build-up to their debut album over three years to deliver Colombia's new Metal export 'Imago' by Nova Orbis. Resembling much like the Phantom Of The Opera duet between Miss Christine Daaé and the Phantom on their first encounter. It seems apt to say Nova Orbis are the next Epica and with that in mind pose a threat to the Dutch musicians, Colombia has spoken out.

DYING
'Bizarre & Bloody Tales (Director's Cut)'
Chilean Death Metallers starved the South American Metal scene to deliver their epic blow in the form of their debut album 'Bizarre & Bloody Tales (Director's Cut)' released on the 1st of January 2010, so much for an epic start to the new year when Dying enforce the deepest vocals across the entire Andes and music so majestic it makes the Andean people look like as if they have been starved, well Dying give their own version of first aid and with this release, it looks to be a bright future for this Chilean quintet.

INFECTION
'Necrokindergarden'
In 2009, Peruvian Death Metallers Infection sent an earthquake rippling across the Andes and destroyed the lost city of the Incas in style. Brutality comes within the drums; technicality resides within the guitars and insanity within the vocalist's lyrics. All in all Infection in a nut shell means 'total brain haemorrage'; it is that cynical and sincere. So much for Death Metal being prevalant in Sweden, Peru has now got their own flag flyers now. The Peruvian metal scene is well under way. Warning! Not for those who attend the 'Necrokindergarden'.

ABREKADAVER
'Those We Don't Speak Of'
RAWFORCE PRODS.
Brutal massacre comes to mind with Chile's Abrekadaver, fueled by Death Metal and Chilean mastermind propaganda this trio seek to destroy man's sense of hearing with their debut album 'Those We Don't Speak Of'. Highly creative drumming and insane guitar playing are backed up by some of the heaviest vocals going about South America. This album is sure to scare the living daylights out of the drug lords who reside in the continent and it is only because they are 'Those We Don't Speak Of'.

KAOSCENTRICA
'South Hordes Arise'
Chile seems to be shitting out Death Metal band's these days, and majority of them oust the European bands 10-1. Kaoscentrica is no exception, whilst my ears are burning from the insane speed of the music; it seems that they have what every other band wants: 'epic charisma'. Singing about their history is as good as reading Wikipedia about Chile itself, however the fundamental difference is Kaoscentrica deploy blastbeats, mind-shattering vocals and melodic guitars, resulting in the volcanic eruption of the century, especially when the 'South Hordes Arise'.
