DESTINY IN CHAINS
'DemoniZed'
Surging underneath the underground Metal scene is Egypt's Destiny In Chain, a five-piece Metalcore assembly. Fusing screamo with Heavy Metal and the dubious genre Hardcore, Destiny In Chains resurrected the brutality of the Pharaoh's with this majestic blitz of Egyptian Metalcore, so much so it goes to say that Egypt is far more brutal than the USA, and not in historical mummification either. Currently unsigned, this quintet is sure to break the ice and send out warnings to major labels, Egypt has become 'Demonized'.

ARTHIMOTH
'Recitel Of The Dagger'
Iranian one-man project Arthimoth was subject to interrogation by 'Global Metal' documentarian Sam Dunn in Dubai because of the restrictions imposed in Iran. Heavily Muslim, Iran is very underground with Metal and Arthimoth is no exception, exploiting over 30 minutes of music on just one song is long enough for a train journey to London, but in all seriousness how did no major label pickup this band remains a mystery, incorporating Brutal Death Metal with traditional Arabic music, Ali Azhari is one Iranian who should go down in Metal's hall of fame.

CRACKDUST
'Dented Reality'
CORE RIODIC
Botswanan Death Metallers Crackdust unleashed their debut full-length and African assault in 2007 with the headline being 'Dented Reality'. Slow mid-tempo guitars succumb to a full epic blastbeat session by the drums which finally end with African Death Metal vocals being fulfilled, all in all 'Dented Reality' is one album to show the Botswanan Metal scene is not to be messed with, giving the fact only four metal bands currently exist. Botswana has some new sons and with it, delivers the almighty smackdown across continental Africa as the metal world faces, the 'Dented Reality'.

SCARAB
'Blinding The Masses'
OSMOSE PRODUCTIONS
Egyptian Brutal Death Metallers Scarab excavated their ancient history and restored it within Metal's majestic character and modern day technology, thus giving birth to one of Egypt's finest metal export albums and Scarab's debut, 'Blinding The Masses'. Laying Brutal Death Metal with traditional Egyptian music on the guitar, Scarab is also dubbed as another Oriental Metal act. With epic's such as 'Valley Of The Sandwalkers' being produced, there lays no reason to why Scarab should not be acknowledged by the masses, but with that comes a cliché, in that the modern Metalheads are blinded to the lesser known metal scenes and so Scarab enforce that as their debut title, 'Blinding The Masses'.

BOHEMA
'Eternal Slaves'
METAL RENAISSANCE
Bohema hail from the country of Georgia, devising Brutal Death Metal and spicing it up with lyrics focused on Sumerian mythology, somewhat flabbergasting at the initial thought mixing Oriental tunes with Metal would not work, but as Bohema and bands like Nile, Melechesh and Orphaned Land have proved, you can mix anything with Metal and with that in mind comes Bohema's debut album released in 2008 which is titled 'Eternal Slaves', the vocals however are somewhat unclear and the music itself is pitched a bit too fast, however this changes all over the album, so thankfully no negative continuity.

TERRORDROME
'Vehement Convulsion'
GRINDETHIC
Hellenic Metallers Terrordrome destroyed all of Greece with their debut album 'Vehement Convulsion' back in 2008; they never recovered since, Brutal Death Metal meets Grindcore in this half an hour battle of music, insane bass drumming and blastbeats are not even dwarfed by the non-understandable vocals and guitars but this does not restrict Terrordrome from committing mass ear brutalization, take it like this, 'Vehement Convulsion' to the everyday person means 'forceful muscle movement.

MELECHESH
'Emissaries'
OSMOSE PRODUCTIONS (NOW SIGNED TO NUCLEAR BLAST)
What more could be said about Israeli's Melechesh, establishing Mesopotamian Metal as a stronghold whilst firmly sticking to Black Metal, it seems very unique in the sense that Black Metal can be twisted to whatever style you want without it being dubbed 'shit'. Melechesh, now in the Netherlands, called upon ancient Sumeria and modern Metal to fuse together an opus unlike any other, be prepared to be whisked away on a journey through time and sand and to find that the past 'Emissaries' will in 2010 take the ultimate shape of 'The Epigenesis'. It should be noted, none of the bandmembers are Israeli nor do they have Israeli decent but are of Dutch, Assyrian and Armenian nationalities.

STORM
'Storm'
Storm sings in Malagasy, meaning they hail from Madagascar! Power Speed Metallers Storm are in one of the most remote locations in Africa and have only three metal bands in the country, with Storm primarily being the only one active, however this debut album was dated back to 2006!! It is interesting to hear how Storm bring their national language and fuse it to Metal, if only one record label picked this quintet up, epic solos, furious and mid-tempo drumming are both finalized with some rather epic keyboard playing and twisted with some chilling vocals, so much so it is an epic journey through the skies and mountains. The Madagascan 'Storm' is coming. The album can be downloaded from their website.

SAKADOYA
'Back To The Age Of Slaves'
Moroccan Melodic Deathrashers Sakadoya gave birth to their debut album 'Back To The Age Of Slaves' back in 2009 and with it the Moroccan Metal scene became a grade better, fast and brutal musical compositions along with some of the most raspy and guttural vocals flowing about in today's Metal world, Sakadoya bring it all together in their first punch at success and with it bring down the religion and politics succumbed to be in Morocco, tearing through Marrakesh and crossing the Mediterranean Sea is their next big step.

BLACK WARRANT'
'Decade Of Destruction'
BLACK WARRANT STUDIO
Long standing Pakistani Metallers Black Warrant are finalizing preparations for their highly anticipated compilation release 'Decade Of Destruction'. It is sure to go with a bang after 13 years of existEnce with five albums and two compilations added to the bill as well as numerous covers, most notably 'master of puppets' by Metallica, but with that Black Warrant have made their own songs based around society and anti-war as well as corrupt governments. Not known the Metal world, Pakistan has had a few wraths with the general public but beneath the lies and deceit by world media lies a Metal scene rife with exceptional talent. But only one band has led the others, and as they enter their 13th year of existence, that band is Black Warrant.
'Decade Of Destruction' is out Winter 2010/Spring 2011.

MURDER THE FRAIL
'Murder The Frail'
Panamanian Deathcore quintet Murder The Frail blasted themselves out of the underground with their debut self-titled EP in 2008, causing a massive earthquake all over Panama. Whitechapel style drumming, JFAC style vocals and BMTH style guitars all combine to create a tour de force that no army could reckon with. This is brutality beyond mere massacre, creativity beyond mere philharmonic orchestras, individuality beyond mere everyday metalheads; this is how to 'Murder The Frail'.

NAZCA
'The White Wheel'
BRENNUS MUSIC
Progressive Melodic Metallers Nazca hail from the French island dependency of Reunion, and with it bring a question, they are still active yet their debut album and only release to date was back in 2003! Ah what the hell, they take influences from Power Metal and bands like Avalanch of Spain whilst adding their own taste of music. Such music could easily be chilled to, melodic guitars and high-pitched vocals are backed by melodic drumming which all in all finalize and create one of the most melodic Metal albums I have come across. The song 'child of Guyana' sees an epic guitar solo any Metalhead would see as beyond awesome but to Nazca as a big leap. Its time to face 'The White Wheel'.

NECROPOLLIS (split-up)
'Enter The Necropollis'
Trinidad & Tobago's Death Metallers Necropollis split-up much to great sadness, but with their only ever demo released in 2003, they remain one of the Caribbean's (in fact probably the only) most famous Death Metal band. Although neighbors Cuba, the Dominican Republic and Jamaica have a Metal scene, Trinidad & Tobago have only had four in the country's history. The vocals are very deep and the drums are epic, but the guitars power the band forward and in overall the demo is one for the iTunes collection. One band gone, but never forgotten, it is time to 'Enter The Necropollis'.
