Bergen avant-garde black metallers Vulture Industries have recently posted details of their incoming LP 'The Malefactor's Bloody Register'; along with one track online for free streaming from their MySpace page.
Currently pegged for a release date of September 13th in Norway and October 4th for the rest of Europe, the album will be available as both a CD and digital version for fans. It also features a special guest star in the guise of Herbrand Larsen from Enslaved on Hammond organ, amoung others on cello, saxophone and viola.
Writing further about the album, the band have explained that it "explores the theme of crime and punishment from both the criminal and the hangman, and once again we have been lucky enough to persuade Hergel Jordal, one of Norway's most renowned character actors to appear on the cover of the album.
Jordal had agreed to be featured in the artwork for 'The Dystopia Journals' after listening to the album, and his collaboration with the band continues with 'The Malefactor's Bloody Register', for which he takes on the role of the Hangman, and is photographed in brandishing a law-book and clutching a noose."
In the meantime, fans may check out a taster of the full-length by listening to fourth track 'The Bolted Door' online at Vulture Industries' MySpace.
