It has been announced today, that records giant Metal Blade have agreed to distribute the North American releases from bands signed to Alan Averill 'Nemthanga's label Poison Tongue Records.
Already gathering more attention in the European underground, Poison Tongue Records shall benefit from this deal with Metal Blade as well as other labels such as Cyclone Empire and Invictus Productions by reaching into the North American market.
According to A.A. 'Nemtheanga', Poison Tongue Records was set up after twenty years of being involved with the music industry, when he decided that "it was time to step up and make a few things happen.
"Poison Tongue will be underground, make no bones about it and will concentrate on a couple of releases a year together with Invictus dealing with the underground traders, Cyclone hitting the middle ground and Metal Blade taking care of the shops, main mail-orders and bigger advertisers. Attack on all fronts!"
Alan is currently working with Metal Blade's A&R department and has helped them sign on two new bands: Darkest Era from Northern Ireland, and Portrait from Sweden.
The first release from Poison Tongue Records, is the debut album from his side project Blood Revolt which is entitled 'Indoctrine'. The LP is available as a limited digi-pack through Metal Blade and Profound Lore in The US, and Invictus in Europe.
