Sonic Youth guitarist joins black metal supergroup

Thurston Moore, guitarist in Sonic Youth has joined black metal supergroup Twilight. Thurston joins Blake Judd (Nacthtmystium), Sanford Parker (Minsk, Nachtmystium), Aaron Turner (ex-Isis, Old Man Gloom), Neill Jameson (Krieg), Wrest (Leviathan, Lurker Of Chalice) and Stavros Giannopolous (The Atlas Moth).

The band are currently gearing up to record their third album, the follow up to 2010′s acclaimed ‘Monument To Time End’
