We’re in a Watain mood in Terrorizer HQ this afternoon and whilst we were delving into our archive we found this cover feature from issue 197. It’s hard to believe it was little over two years ago. How time flies when you’re headbanging, eh?

 

In this revealing cover feature, around the time Sweden’s footsoldiers of Satan released their fourth opus ‘Lawless Darkness’, frontman Erik Danielsson proclaimed: “We are the injection, that spark of ambition and genuine art that black metal needs.”

And didn’t his words ring true.
