Relive Ghostfest: Saturday Part 2 – Terrorizer Magazine

Here are more of our highlights from the first day of Ghostfest 2012.

 

Broken Teeth lived up to their name today, serving up a hearty slice of visceral chaos on the second stage. Dodgy sound wasn’t enough to derail the Manchester hardcore bunch, and they did a great job of keeping the first-aid teams busy.

 

South Wales’s finest Brutality Will Prevail followed suit with an equally stunning set, chock full of grimy riffs and dripping with menace. Ones to watch.

 

Of course the job of closing the day’s festivities (the musical ones, at least) fell to The Black Dahlia Murder, and they didn’t disappoint. Trevor Strnad and co are one of the most consistent and heavy-hitting live acts around and this time around they left us battered, but satisfied.
