Lamb Of God Frontman Arrested In Prague

By on June 29, 2012

Lamb of God vocalist Randy Blythe has been arrested in Prague.

According to Czech news site Novinky, the frontman has been arrested on charges of manslaughter.

These charges stem from a Lamb Of God show in Prague on 24 May 2010, when a fan allegedly jumped on stage during the show, resulting in a physical altercation with Blythe. The fan eventually succumbed to his injuries and died, which has lead to the charges that Blythe is now facing.

A Lamb Of God spokesperson has said that Blythe has been “wrongly accused” and that the band’s lawyers are “dealing with it” and “expect him to be fully exonerated.”

In the early hours of this morning the band tweeted “#FreeRandyBlythe”

Lamb Of God were supposed to play at Prague’s Rock Café last night alongside All Shall Perish and Skeletonwitch, however the show was cancelled.
