Devil Sold His Soul Set To Release New Album

By on June 21, 2012

Devil Sold His Soul are ready to release their first album since their departure from Century Media last year. Once again produced by the band’s guitarist Johnny Renshaw and mixed by Alan Douches (Converge, Mastodon, Baroness), ‘Empire of Light’ will be released by Small Town Records on September 17th.

Vocalist Ed Gibbs claims that the band’s third album has a fundamentally positive message: “Lyrically this album is about strength and perseverance through adverse situations, it’s about getting up when you’ve been knocked down and still pushing forwards.”

Opening track ‘No Remorse, No Regrets’ is freely downloadable here. The band has also released an online-only video for the track – check it out here:

Devil Sold His Soul will be playing Hevy Festival in Kent on August 4th, and Pukkelpop festival in Belgium on August 18th.
