The Safety Fire to support Gojira at UK shows

London prog-metallers The Safety Fire will open for Gojira on their forthcoming British dates.

The shows will be in support of their album ‘Grind The Ocean’, released this April. The band are also scheduled to play Download Festival on June 8 and Hevy Festival on August 4.

“We have been huge fans of Gojira for quite some time, and are super hyped to be going out with them on this UK run.” says guitarist Derya Nagle. “We watched them from the side of the stage at Sonisphere last year and it was insane. They are one of the best live bands around at the moment and it will be an honour to share the stage with them!

The dates are as follows:
Mon 25 June – Sheffield Corporation
Tue 26 June – Birmingham O2 Academy 2
Wed 27 June – London O2 Islington Academy
