Nergal: “I really really hope that we’ll be coming back to Bloodstock next year”

Terrorizer coverstar Nergal of Poland’s extreme metal leviathans Behemoth spoke to us earlier today, and he had a very special message for the fans who missed out on seeing them at Bloodstock last year. The frontman, guitarist and all-round metal hero said:

“I really really hope that we’ll be coming back to Bloodstock next year, there were so many people that were so disappointed that we missed it for obvious reasons a year ago. We’d love to come back and hopefully headline one of the stages. We’re working really hard on coming back in the best possible shape and in the best possible condition, and we don’t want to disappoint anyone and we don’t want to disappoint ourselves. We really want to deliver and we really want to bring a new quality to our live set and to our music. We’re really working hard.

“You can imagine how hard that whole experience was, and I always hate to let people down. If I commit to something, I will do everything regardless to make it happen but, in this case there was now way we could do it – but we really wanna make it up to all the people.”
